To speed up your computer is the most important thing you could do as a computer user. This might save your computer from being thrown out the window.

Following below the instruction to speed up your computer.

Step1: Delete unwanted files-unwanted files like un used back up files,useless files, temporarily created files, images., etc…

Step2: Delete hidden junk files – All you have to do is open files, browse the Internet, install programs, and more files are created in the background

Step3: Remove unwanted programs -like unused ringtone cutter, pdf editor,application devoloper softwares.

Important one avoid for quick launch icon,incase it run for background and occupy the more CPU usage.

Step3: Defrag to speed up your computer - If you are using the Windows disk defragmenter which is located at start menu>accessories>system tools>disk defragmenter, you can choose to “analyze” first before you choose defrag. This feature will tell you if you need to perform this task or not.

Step4:Disk CleanUp - Go to start menu>accessories>system tools>disk cleanup

Step4: if you using internet to purchase Anti virus program, like ESET node Antivirus.

Step5: Dont use others pen-drives,external hard disk,memory cards except for Full virus scanning.

Step6: Avoid multitasking with large programs- dont open more taps in your browser like internet explorer, opera,firefox and chrome, similar then photoshop,image ready, image compressor,gif file generator for at a time it take more CPU.

Step7: Use an your own external hard drive for backup incase low memory harddisk. Incase low or high memory hard disk may be data file to occupy the cache and  ram memory, so long time back files like it is not use regularly you make an external drive.

Step8: Update programs regularly – operating system.

Step9: Upgrade your computer memory. don’t fill with maximum capacity of your memory, example you use an 80gp hard disk just mainained with atleast 10gp free memory.

Step10:  dont install programs in c:\ to use and D:\ to create new folder and named “install programs” use this folder for installation.

Step11: Clean your CPU to avoid for dust.

• Go to Run > Type “temp” – click enter temp folder is now opening to use Control+A then give shift+del key

all temp file is deleted.

• Use Run > type “%temp%”( use this % simple) click ok now Additional temp folder is now opening to use Control+A then give shift+del key all temp file is deleted.

Some people use the computer for many hours, due to this computer becomes over heated. Over heat is not good for your computer as it runs slowly. To avoid this problem one should have free flow of air to their computers like some people removes the casing cover so that air will flow freely. Another way is to buy extra fan and connect to computer casing. It is very easy to connect extra fan, just you need to tight with provided screw and connect to extra power supply cable. The third method is to maintain very low room temperature by using AC or air coolers so that heat generated by the computer can be cooled and make the computer to run sufficiently.

Scanning of Virus and removing

Virus can enter into your computer in two ways. One way is from your external storage like pen drives, external hard disk, flash drive, and diskette. Secondly, it can enter from internet. Your computer should always have antivirus installed in it that will protect from all unwanted programs. If you buy brand new computer it should be pre-installed with antivirus program. You can also use free and trial version of antivirus program like Avira, Avast, AVG or etc, which you can download from internet and install them in your computer. Disk Defragmentation

When you copy, paste, create or delete a file from your computer then it will make your computer fragment. In simpler terms fragmentation means files are written in various locations in your hard disk. So that computer takes longer time to search those files to run and create empty space in between the files. To fulfill these gaps defragmentation of your disk drive is required.

To perform disk defragmentation, go to C: drive, go to ‘Properties’, ‘Tools’ tab then you can see‘Defragmentation’. Click on it then wait until finish. The more files on your hard disk the longer it take to finish.

Drive scan disk

Drive scan disk is similar to defrag, where operating system repairs bad sector and so on. It will work like medical check up to your computer.

To access, go to C: drive, go to properties, tools bar, and chick “ERROR CHECKING” tab and system will ask for restart in order to run full scan disk.

Controlling user Account

Windows computer operating system can create multiple users in one computer.  Your computer may share with your family members or you can share via Local Area Networks (LAN) or WI-FI.  You can manage these by user accounts, go to ‘control panel’, ‘User Accounts’. You will be safe and stable once you limit user activities on your computer account by specifying them as guest or anadministrator or Limited user.  These account settings can be done by owner of the computer which he as complete access to his computer.

Computer Restarts after start up, it prompts for a reboot. This process will continue unless the computer is started in Safe Mode. In Safe mode the computer boots correctly and everything seems fine.

This problem only appears on some systems after upgrading to SP3. This particular problem on systems that have been prepared with SysPrep.

The sysprep image was created on an Intel based computer, and then the sysprep image is deployed on a Non-Intel system such as an AMD processor.

In these cases, the registry entry for Intelppm is incorrectly set and causes the computer to go into a continuous reboot after the service pack has installed.

How Can I Solve This Problem?

Note: Follow these steps to resolve this issue with the computer not booting correctly after SP3 is installed.

1) Start your computer in Safe Mode.

2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter. This will open the Registry Editor.

3) Click the pluses(+) next to the following registry keys to navigate to the correct spot.

4) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesI ntelppm4) In the right hand column find the entry titled START and double-click on it

5) Change the number to 4 and click Ok

6) Close the Registry Editor

7) Shut down your computer and restart

This time the computer should restart normally and finish the installation of SP3.
